SALES ENGINEER

Job Duties and Description:

Prepare materials and make technical presentations to potential customers and show them the benefits and advantages of using Hypec, Inc.'s products and services. Demonstrate and explain to potential customers the reason why Hypec, Inc.'s products and services are better than other competitors' products. Understand and identify potential customers' system's requirements to better serve and meet their needs. Understand the types of oil, gas, and energy equipment and technology the customers are using and help them to determine which machinery, components and supplies are needed to help them operate efficiently and safely. Confer with potential customers and their technical staffs to assess the types of oil, gas, and energy equipment they needs. Review any engineering changes that impact material or supplier, and to help them to adjust their stocks accordingly. Visit potential customers and show samples about Hypec, Inc.'s products, pricing, availability, and sales support, and where Hypec, Inc. procures its components, parts, materials and supplies for equipment used in oil, gas, and energy industry. Explain and answer questions about technical aspects of the products and services. Assist customers to solve technical problems. Provide technical support and services to customers regarding the use, operation, and maintenance of products and equipment. Discuss design and technical features of products and services with customer's technical staffs. Create sales/service contracts for products and services. Develop, present, and respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions. Follow up with customers during the stage before and after sales. Offer technical sales support after sales. Facilitate Hypec, Inc. to manage its supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness for the products it sold. Help Hypec, Inc. periodically review its suppliers and find ways to eliminate waste and variability in the supply chain.

Visit customers once a month in California and Texas to keep them informed about Hypec, Inc.'s products and services.

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering is required. Will accept foreign degree equivalent to U.S. Bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering. Experience is not required.

Working Hours:

9:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday for 40 hours a week.
